BEHIND-THE-WHEEL INSTRUCTION  (Cost $310.00)

The driving education program which Alert Driver Training offers is DMV approved.  The driving evaluation portion consists of seven-50 minute sessions of driving and seven-50 minute sessions of observing.  All instructors driving for Alert Driver Training are state certified and have many years experience in behind-the-wheel training.  They do not cut corners and will give the student a complete and thorough driving experience.  It is a state law which requires 45 hours of driving prior to a student obtaining their license and 15 of those hours need to include driving after sunset.  A parent or guardian must sign the DMV form certifying the student has met this requirement.

CLASSROOM INSTRUCTION (Cost $200.00)

Classroom instruction consists of 36 hours.  Content includes videos,  guest instructors from various safety organizations and parents that have lost a child to a traffic fatality.  We bring real-life situations into the classroom to enhance the learning experience.  Our instructors are state certified and have many years experience teaching in the classroom.  The background of our instructors include teachers, law enforcement officers and emergency nursing.  This class is also for any person that has taken their DMV test three times and have not passed and are now required to take a 36-hr DMV approved class.

DRIVER IMPROVEMENT CLINIC ($75.00)

The Driver Improvement Clinic is an 8-hr DMV approved class for anyone wishing to add 5 "good" points to their driving record or have been directed by the DMV or Court to take a "DIP" class.  The student will receive a certificate at the end of the session and information is submitted directly to the DMV by Alert Driver Training.  We apologize for any inconvenience but require cash or money order only for this class.

PRIVATE LESSONS ($35/HR)

We provide private lessons at a very reasonable rate for any person needing extra instruction or those with special needs.  Please call the office to discuss.  We encourage any student or adult that has taken their learners twice and have been unsuccessful to let us help you prior to testing for the 3rd time.  We can help you save time and money!  We have a minimum requirement of 4 hours for private lessons.
